Play-off schedule
1st round: 1st January – 31th January
Semifinals: 1st February – 15th February
Stanley Cup Finals: 16th February – 1st March
Play-off system
Advancing: First 8 teams after regular season will proceed directly to 1st round of playoffs. Teams on position 9-10 will not proceed to playoffs. Opponents draw after Regular Season: The first round of the playoffs consists of four league match-ups, based on the seedings after regular season (No. 1 vs. No. 8, No. 2 vs. No. 7, No. 3 vs. No. 6, and No. 4 vs. No. 5). In the second round the first team after regular season plays against the lowest remaining seed, the second team after regular season plays against the second-lowest remaining seed etc. (unlike the NBA, for example, where the 1-8 winner always plays the 4-5 winner, regardless of who wins).
Matches results remain the same like in regular season. NHL04GamePlayCenter – csv – gamestat, playerstat, teamstat = all send here.
